Research stays on this device.
Bookmarks, journal entries, contribution drafts, alert drafts and preferences use browser storage. They are not synced or encrypted by the application. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to see them. Clearing browser storage can remove them.
The Observatory remembers exploration progress for the current browser session. Exported files are downloaded to your device.
Addresses and share links.
A scan target, selected entity or evidence reference can appear in the page URL. Copying and sharing that URL shares those values. Do not enter private keys, recovery phrases or confidential personal information.
If an indexing service is configured, the address you submit is sent to that service for analysis. No live service is configured in this deployment. The fictional sample does not submit its graph to a provider.
Hosting and media.
The site host processes requests needed to deliver the page. The Eye film and other published assets are served with the site. The application does not include an advertising tracker.
Wallet verification is optional and separate from browsing. The interface never requests private keys or a recovery phrase.
